II international conference of the Women’s Rehabilitation Association was held on the 13^th of June, 2015 in Tbilisi, Georgia at hotel “Old Tbilisi”.

The conference was dedicated to major issues of women’s rehabilitation and perinatal psychology. The topic of stillbirth was discussed through revision of the data obtained as a result of the researches carried out by Women’s Rehabilitation Association. The conference was carried out in collaboration with International Stillbirth Alliance.

Many of the pressing topics were discussed at the conference: causes of stillbirth, management of post-stillbirth care, planning future pregnancies, consultations with parents, perinatal audit, psycho-emotional aspects of stillbirth and the importance of psycho-rehabilitation.

The conference was attended by: healthcare providers (obstetrician-gynecologists, radiologists, psychotherapists, midwives, nurses), parents who have been confronted with perinatal loss, residents and a group of researchers. .

For the first time, the attendants of the conference had an opportunity to engage in a project in which International Stillbirth Alliance and the group of experts from the alliance were taking part. It was the first conference in Georgia where doctors, scientist and parents, who have experienced perinatal loss had an opportunity to share their experiences with each other.
